Speedy Hire PLC // health & safety campaign

Speedy Hire is a leading provider of equipment hire services to UK contractors and builders, industry, utilities and the public sector. Speedy Hire is also recognised for its commitment to supporting key legislation and health and safety issues: Working at Height, Manual Handling, Hand Arm Vibration and Dust. As part of this initiative they commissioned Ignition to develop a series of sales support and training multimedia presentations to clearly communicate the key messages to a number of different target audiences.

Our solution was to devise the most effective way to present the complex information for each topic and address each audience in the type of language that they would respond to. The campaign consisted of developing a range of communications tools aimed at the two main target groups - MDs, senior decision makers and also construction site workers.

We designed and developed a range of sales and training multimedia presentations and demonstration tools to communicate clearly the issues and the solutions in a clear, structured format that the two key audiences would clearly understand and be able to act on. The project involved scriptwriting, filming, multimedia DVD, print design and production to a very tight schedule.

The result? The sales and training demonstrations have been well received by both the staff and the target audiences, further increasing Speedy Hire's reputation and position as a leader in the field of healthy and safety in the construction industry.
